Anne Line Kristensen promoted to Portfolio Manager of SKAGEN m2 and Espen Klette promoted to Portfolio Manager of SKAGEN Kon-Tiki

Anne Line Kristensen is to join Portfolio Manager Michael Gobitschek as Portfolio Manager of the real estate equity fund SKAGEN m2. Anne Line has been an equity analyst on the fund since 2018, responsible for doing value-oriented research on publicly listed real estate companies globally as well as analysing new and existing investment cases. She has previously held positions as portfolio management trainee and risk analyst in SKAGEN, having joined the company in 2016. Anne Line has been a CFA Charterholder since February 2022.

Espen Klette will be joining Portfolio Managers Fredrik Bjelland and Cathrine Gether as Portfolio Manager of the emerging markets equity fund SKAGEN Kon-Tiki. Espen joined SKAGEN in January 2019 and as an equity analyst he has worked closely with the Kon-Tiki team focusing on idea generation and fundamental analysis of new and existing companies and sectors. While working as a generalist, he has had a particular focus on cyclical sectors. Before joining SKAGEN, Espen was a partner and equity sell-side research analyst at Pareto Securities.

In their roles as Portfolio Managers, Anne Line and Espen will continue analysing and monitoring companies in addition to taking on more responsibility both in terms of portfolio construction, sizing and trading as well as independently representing the funds in client settings.

Anne Line and Espen will take on their new roles effective 1 July 2022.
